MSN Search Toolbar Form Fill Wizard
I just installed MSN Desktop Search on our main computer to help Zoe find an old set of eco-house plans she remembered saving somewhere a billion years ago. As it turned out, she found the plans whilst the indexer was still catching up, but that's not where the story ends.
Then she hit the eco-house architect's checkout form, and all hell broke loose. Zoe is mad keen on the form wizard. She's still so excited I'm going to need a long-handled spatula to peel her off the ceiling, but I've managed to glean from her enthused ranting that she fills in lengthy forms anywhere up to ten times a day and would gladly have sold body parts on the black market for this kind of feature. Now Microsoft gave it to her for free — no surgery required.
Zoe's so excited she's even willing to forgive the state field being limited to two characters, but I might have to prod my favourite localization localisation people to see if I can get that one fixed.
Did I mention that Microsoft made my wife really excited? The computer industry just gets weirder and weirder…
